J.J. Brindley, left, accepting the Spirit of Service Award from ABC of North Alabama President Tiffany Brightwell.
Brindley Construction is pleased to announce that J.J. Brindley is the 2017 recipient of the Associated Builders & Contractors Spirit of Service Award. The award was created in 2016 to honor a volunteer within the ABC North Alabama Chapter who went above and beyond what was asked of him/her to help further the mission of the organization.
ABC of North Alabama was struggling to reach and mentor the next generation of leaders in the construction community so, in 2012, the chapter created the Emerging Leaders program to serve members in the industry under the age of 40. J.J. Brindley served as the chairman of the chapter's Emerging Leaders program in 2017. Due to his dedication to the growth and success of the program, the Emerging Leaders saw its highest enrollment and participation since its inception. In addition, J.J. worked diligently to seek out the best presenters and most beneficial topics for participants at chapter events. Thanks to J.J.’s efforts, the chapter is reaching another generation of leaders within the companies represented, ensuring retention within the organization for years to come.J.J. serves as Brindley’s Assistant Director of Business Development and is a natural leader. He takes on every task with willingness and a positive attitude. These leadership qualities make him a perfect candidate for the ABC Spirit of Service Award and we are honored to have him on the Brindley team! Congratulations, J.J.!
