The new “forever home” of Sutton Family Pharmacy was recently completed in Pulaski, Tennessee. The Brindley Construction team is thrilled to bring the Suttons’ business dreams to life!
Sutton Family Pharmacy, a project that has been a longtime dream of owners Jennie and Kelby Sutton, is now complete! What started as a romance in the Columbia State chemistry lab, the Suttons have built a family and a successful business in Pulaski, Tennessee. The Brindley Construction team was thrilled to help the Suttons bring their business dreams to life!
The new building site is across the street from Sutton Family Pharmacy’s previous retail location. When site work began, it was clear that the Brindley crew was dealing with soft, unsuitable soils. A soils engineer was contacted and it was ultimately decided that the site would be fully excavated and stone brought in to shore up the soils.
Located at 993 Mill Street, the pharmacy is constructed like a vault. The walls are built with concrete block and rebar, which were then poured full of concrete. The Brindley team also fabricated and installed steel shutters over all the windows and doors for additional security.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held in April 2022 and the building was ready for occupancy by November 2022. Kudos for a job well-done to the project team of Project Manager Jeff Brindley, Project Superintendent Percy Hazelwood, Project Assistant Melissa Pierce, Emmett Smith Architects, EMC Structural Engineers, and Sain Associates Civil Engineering.
