Public Library Renovations
Renovations to the Giles County Public Library include a new gabled roof, a new heating and cooling system, new windows and doors, and improved lighting and technology, which has made a positive impact on library users.
Brindley Construction appreciated the opportunity to be a part of this much-needed renovation and commends the hard work of the Giles County Library Board. Fuqua and Associates of Huntsville, Alabama were the Architects for the $658,500 project. From the start, the Brindley Team planned the renovation with the Owner, interviewed Architects and offered cost, design and construction input. We worked with the Architect to inspect and coordinate the new work to be completed to the existing facility.
We prepared and sent the bid packages to the subcontractors and reviewed the budget with the Owner. A hard dollar amount was determined. A superintendent and project manager were assigned to the project. All contracts and purchase orders were managed by the Brindley team and detailed budgets were provided to the Owner. Final punch lists visits were scheduled and the punch list was provided to Owner for evaluation.
Our objective is to provide expert construction services as required by each specific and unique project. Brindley Construction's broad experience and long history allow us to provide commercial and industrial clients with complete design-build, general contracting, construction management and renovation services.
