Bridgeforth Middle School Renovations
Pulaski, Tennessee
Enhancing Learning Through Modernization
Brindley Construction served as the Construction Manager at Risk on the renovation of Bridgeforth Middle School as part of the Giles County Board of Education’s ongoing school improvement initiative. This project focused on upgrading critical building systems while enhancing safety, efficiency, and the overall learning environment for students and staff.
A major component of the renovation included comprehensive mechanical system upgrades. The school received a new hydronic HVAC system, featuring the installation of a new chiller and boilers to improve comfort, reliability, and energy efficiency. Associated piping systems were upgraded throughout select areas of the building to support the new mechanical infrastructure. Indoor air quality and occupant health were further enhanced through the installation of UV lighting throughout the entire facility. Interior improvements included new ceilings, contributing to both functionality and aesthetics within classrooms and common areas. Building envelope and security upgrades were also a key focus of the project. New windows and storefront systems were installed using entry-resistant materials to improve durability and safety. In addition, security film was applied to all windows, providing an added layer of protection without compromising natural light.
