Convenience Built With Integrity | Ethridge Mini-Mart & Liquor World

Having successfully partnered on multiple projects over the years, the Brindley team was honored to bring our client’s vision to life with the Ethridge Mini-Mart and Liquor World convenience store through our design-build service. Led by Project Manager Jeff Brindley, the project reflects the trust and collaboration that have been built through years of working together, resulting in a modern, functional space designed to serve the local community for years to come.

The 9,900-square-foot structure was designed to accommodate three separate spaces: the convenience store, the liquor store, and an additional suite reserved for future growth and expansion opportunities. Early sitework required overcoming grading challenges, including the removal and replacement of a significant amount of unsuitable soil to establish a stable foundation for construction. From there, the project progressed into a durable and visually appealing facility built on a 6-inch concrete slab, featuring reinforced masonry walls and a standing seam metal roof on the building exterior.

Interior finishes included metal stud framing throughout, fire-rated wall assemblies separating the retail spaces and kitchen area, ceramic floor tile, ceramic wall tile, and FRP wall panels in the kitchen for added durability and cleanliness.

The convenience store features an open-concept layout designed to maximize customer flow and accessibility, complete with an L-shaped cooler along the rear and exterior walls, a commercial kitchen with a walk-in freezer, and two restrooms. The adjoining liquor store includes a spacious rear storage area, a walk-in cooler, a private office adjacent to the front counter, and an additional restroom to support daily operations efficiently.
