As we neared the end of our 60th Anniversary festivities, we thought of no better way to commemorate our six decades of service than to honor the late Robert Brindley, Sr. with a plaque that is located at the front of the office.

Everyone’s lives have changed this year due to COVID. However, here at Brindley Construction, we have had some exciting changes we are excited to share with you!

A loan of $10,000.00 and a small frame home marked the beginning of a 60-year success story evolving into a multifaceted corporation operating throughout the Southeast. Brindley Construction Company was founded in 1960 by my father, Robert Brindley. Over the past 60 years, dedication to quality construction and industrial development, coupled with a foundation built on only the best people, have made Brindley Construction what it is today. We sat down recently with Brindley Construction's new Marketing Director, Lauren Reed, and asked her to tell us about her experience during the first couple of weeks in her new role. Can you tell us a little bit about your education and prior work experience? I am an alumni from Martin Methodist College where I received a B.A in Business Administration and was part of the Student Activities Organization. I started out my career as a Purchasing Intern for Magneti Marelli where I worked my way up to Commodity Buyer and had the opportunity to work with Brindley and other local businesses here in Pulaski. In 2019 I worked for Pulte Homes in Franklin as a Procurement Agent, where I worked with the contractors and the construction crew in the field. The hustle and bustle of the construction industry keeps me on my feet and is an exciting industry to work in!

This year’s plans were big. Really big. For starters, Brindley Construction is celebrating our 60th Anniversary of delivering commercial construction projects to customers throughout the Southeast. We had planned a big party and some local activities in the community to help celebrate our six decades of service. We also completed a project for Clayton Cavalier Homes in Addison, Alabama that won regional awards in both Tennessee and North Alabama and was ultimately recognized at the national level with the coveted Associated Builders and Contractors Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction. We had also planned our annual company outings and activities, something we really enjoy doing with our talented and dedicated team of employees. And then COVID-19 showed up and everything changed.
